GRACE MCKEE
Grace McKee was born in India and grew up surrounded by art in the form of beautiful architecture, amazing sculptures, exquisitely embroidered silks, intricate jewelry, vividly colored flowers and enchanting dances.
Grace's passion for color is evident in her paintings. She gained a great deal of inspiration from books portraying the works of Sergei Bongart, Nicolai Fechin, John Singer Sargent, Richard Schmid and the Impressionists. Her painting tends towards impressionism with lots of color and abundant paint. Grace paints landscapes mostly, but also a wide variety of other subjects ranging from flowers to still life, portraits and nudes. Although her main love is oil, she continues to paint watercolors too, especially while traveling.

HEATHER BRAMMEIER
My paintings focus on interlocking shapes and the resulting equivocation between figure and ground. Behind the interlocking shapes in my paintings is a desire for fullness and completeness. In my everyday life, I have an affinity for objects that are rounded and full, and that seem difficult to break. A new plant tendril sprouting from the earth is actually quite delicate, but the form itself could not be fuller, and the air around the perfect form cradles it with a sympathetic shape, making it feel unbreakable. It is only through painting and drawing that I feel close to achieving that same unbreakable quality.
MARY ROUSSEAUXis
CAROLE D'INVERNO
As an artist I like to work in series. This method allows for a broad range of possibilities and for intuitive and personal results. The vocabulary of shape, color and texture is essential to the overall process and guides the compositional development of the series.
SANDRA BECK
A native of Maine, I graduated from the University of Connecticut as a physical therapist. After a career spanning 22 years, my husband and I moved to a farm in rural Oregon. There, I started gardening, leading to my second career as the owner of a retail plant nursery. After moving to Sedona I discovered a love of painting, starting my third career as an artist, beginning in watercolor and branching out to include oils and ceramics.
